Fine weather in the morning of this ride from Meriden to Ansley for lunch
was followed by steady rain for the return journey. Consequently although
we had used quiet, if rather hilly, lanes in the morning, we opted for a
more direct route via the B4102 in the afternoon.
Above right: The good weather lasted until the end of the lunch stop at
the Lord Nelson, although in this picture Phil Wray already seems to be looking
nervously at the sky. Left: This was the first Origami Ride at which a
tandem Two'sday made an appearance. There was also a conventional Dawes
Galaxy tandem on the ride.
